Writing an Announcement
Writing a good announcement is a great way to attract visitors to your gallery and showcase your accomplishments. Keep these tips in mind when writing an announcement:

*Remember the 5 Ws. The key point to writing a good announcement is to have something interesting to write about. Remember the 5 Ws: Who, What, When, Where, and Why, and include them in your announcement. Who: You! What: Received an award, painted a new piece, a new exhibition, etc. When: Date(s) event took place. Where: Where you're located; where the exhibition will be, where the event took place. Why: Why did you receive an award? What was your inspiration for your newest painting? Why were you chosen to exhibit?

*Invite them to learn more: The point of an announcement is to widen your exposure to the art world. Invite them to view your exhibition on ArtsCad, visit your website, purchase a piece, or attend your showing.

*Don't be shy: This is your chance to show off your accomplishments. Let your talents shine, and make it clear that you are an accomplished artist, ready to share your talent with the art world!
