International Project “Eurointegration through Art”

21 Ambassadors of Eurointegration through Art have honour to invite You to the opening of the International Exhibition “Eurointegration through Art” that will take place on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at 15:00, at the National Historical Museum of Moldova (31 August 1989 str., 121 A, Chisinau).

ARS DOR Association with the support of the International Fund for the Promotion of Culture (UNESCO) launches International Project “Eurointegration through Art” that has mission to contribute through art to the process of European integration. During June 14-20, 2006 in Orheiul Vechi, painters from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Latvia and Georgia - Ambassadors for Eurointegration through art - will express their vision on importance of culture in the process of European integration.

Project is implemented in partnership with the Information Office of the Council of Europe in Moldova, Centre for Contemporary Art (KSA:K), AZUR Art and National Historical Museum of Moldova.

During the Project will take place 2 seminars: “Eurointegration through art” and “Art promotion through Internet”, during which participants will explore the cultural dimension of the European integration and cultural perspectives of EU enlargement and will define role of artist in the process of European integration.

European artists, musicians, writers, poets, film-makers, actors, academicians are Ambassadors of culture, who can build bridges between European countries, people and cultures by encouraging and enhancing dialogue and interaction between them. Intercultural dialogue through art is an important instrument which could facilitate the integration of new countries in the European Union. If politicians of European countries will understand this, European integration will not be limited by economic, political, security, geopolitical and other factors.
