In the large family of so-called Faithful packs, there are Resource Packs that stand out from their brothers. This is the case of Coterie Craft. Originally known as the Quandary Texture Pack and made by ExtraNoise, the departure of the latter from the Minecraft community pushed Cpt. Corn to take it back and continue the pack under the name Coterie Craft. This pack is “neo-faithful”: while remaining close to Minecraft’s textures, it brings to them a very particular graphic signature.
While Coterie Craft’s textures don’t seem to change Minecraft’s appearance by far, a closer look reveals that the pack brings a real added value to the game. Although in 16x (also available in 32x), a low resolution not much used by the faithful packs, it details the textures of the different blocks in the game, including grass and building blocks. But its main modifications concern the colors: brighter in the desert, darker in the mountains, they are in any case more assertive, more contrasted than for the basic pack.
