Double Slabs is a mod that adds a very simple feature, but one that cannot be done by default in Minecraft. As you know, in the game, you cannot place two slabs, one on top of the other, if one of these slabs is different from the other. In Minecraft you can only stack slabs of the same type.
Well, with this mod installed we can place one slab on top of the other, even if the two slabs are different. This will allow us to do things like the ones we see in the image above, where in the ceiling we find two slabs joined in the ceiling area, which are made of different materials.
How to install Double Slabs Mod
- Download Minecraft Forge
- Download Double Slabs Mod
- Double click on the downloaded Forge file to run the installer.
- Paste the downloaded mod file into the
.minecraft/modsfolder - Now the slabs will be more versatile for our constructions!
