FPS Reducer Mod

Minecraft is basically a game that is quite greedy and can require considerable resources to function properly. FPS Reducer aims to reduce unnecessary load on the graphics card as well as the processor by automatically limiting the performance allocated to Minecraft when you don’t use Minecraft for a while. As soon as you resume your activity on the game, the mod restores priority to the game.

Here are a few examples of what this mod can do for you:

• When you let the game run while waiting to receive your resources. Often this is the case with mods where there are automated industry.
• When you do something else on the PC and let Minecraft run in the background.
• If you want to save energy without spending it unnecessarily.

The features:

• Automatically reduce the number of frames per second (FPS) under the following conditions.
  • No user operation for a specified period of time.
  • The game window is inactive or reduced.
• Removes the sound volume if the game window is inactive or minimized.
• Displays the current FPS at the edge of the screen.

Usage

By default, if there is no operation for 5 minutes the frame rate will drop to 10.
Pressing [END] key opens the configuration GUI by default.

How to install FPS Reducer Mod

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
