This mod allows you to extend chests and other sheet objects in vanilla Java Minecraft. Due to technical limitations, the author can’t use real pistons to push out chests, instead the author must use another block to act as a piston. To create these “pistons”, simply drop the piston and chest over the craft table. To create a sticky version, simply drop the sticky piston and chest on top of the craft table.
Specific blocks can not be pushed by piston, like bedrock and obsidian for example. To change what blocks can and can’t be pressed by pistons edit the immovable.json
file found in data/pushable _ chests/tags/blocks.
Some blocks are totally overlooked by the piston and will get changed when blocks are moved, such as air, water, and lava. In the same location as you found theimmovable.json
file, you can discover the passable.json file and modify what blocks are neglected by the piston.
