Since version 1.15.2 of Minecraft, we can meet in Minecraft bees. Realistic Bees is a mod that aims to make the behavior of bees more realistic in Minecraft without adding new objects to the game. Because of this, a new mechanic has been added: every time a bee is going to sting a player or a creature, there is a probability that it will leave its stinger stuck in the victim. When this happens, the bee freezes in place and unfortunately does not live much longer. The author has simply reproduced what happens in real life. A stinger will not always be left on the victim but usually when the bee withdraws, the abdomen also withdraws which is fatal for the bee.
When a bee’s stinger is left on the player or creature, it will continue to inject poison for a set time. You can remove the stinger by using a pair of shears that act as tweezers. Otherwise, the stinger will stop injecting poison after 30 seconds by default. In order to make the bees a little less rare, the mod also adds a configuration value (default 4) that defines the extra amount of bees that spawn after each natural bee appearance.
