SapixCraft [Resource Pack] Minecraft 1.15.1

There are many styles of Resource Packs, from medieval packs to Faithful HD. But today, it’s a radially opposite genre that we’re going to talk about. SapixCraft is called “simplistic”, a term that, without denigrating the work of its creator, Sapix, means that the textures in this pack are smooth and colorful.

One could compare this style to “flat design”, which is widely used in the field of logos and software interface. This one aims at making the menus more readable and with very contrasted colors between them. This is exactly what characterizes the texture of the blocks, as you will see in the pictures at the bottom of the article.

All the blocks and items in the game, except for the monsters and a few rare items, have been modified. While their appearance has not radically changed, the author has increased the level of detail of all the items in the game, while keeping their basic appearance. This is particularly the case for lamps, rails, grass. I personally have a crush on the bow, which adopts noble colors, but the swords and armor are not to be outdone and are also well crafted, their guards taking the form of horns for example. The blade is, moreover, perfectly tapered, and this is due to the very high resolution of the pack, which is 512×512, which is ironic for a so-called “simplistic” pack.

You can also find this pack with a resolution of 32×32. However, if you decide to use its more detailed version, it is advisable to use Optifine. SapixCraft is not intended for build, but can be very nice on mini-games or PVP servers. A way to rest your eyes between two skywars games.

How to install SapixCraft [Resource Pack] on Minecraft:

Download the data pack. It should be a .zip file or directory.
Open Minecraft.
Select the world you want to install the data pack for, click on “Edit”, then “Open world folder”.
Open the folder named datapacks, and put the data pack into it.
Type /reload or press F3+T if you are in the world during the installation.
If the data pack has a correct format, it would be enabled in the world. If you have enabled cheats, you can verify by typing /datapack list enabled and find an entry named [file/your data pack file/directory name].
