Blood Moon is a moon event that will significantly increase the generation rate of hostile entities and prevents players from sleeping. Harvest Moon is a lunar event that increases the generation rate of crops, as well as the amount of crops that we will obtain when harvesting.
Therefore, and to make a summary, Blood Moon nights are nights in which we will suffer in an important way to try to survive the hordes of enemies. While Harvest Moon nights will be the ideal time to sow and harvest crops in our orchards.
