It is now possible to get apples from trees.
Apple Trees Revived 1.16.5 is a mod that will allow us, once again, to get apples from Minecraft trees, although in this case they will not be generated naturally in the trees, but we will have to be the ones who plant the apple trees to get apples.
With this mod installed we can make two new bushes, a bush from which red apples will grow and another bush from which golden apples will grow. In the image below we can see how is the manufacturing process of each of these variants of apple tree.

How to install Apple Trees Revived Mod for Minecraft 1.16.5?
- Download Minecraft Forge 1.16.5
- Download Apple Trees Revived Mod 1.16.5
- Double click on the downloaded Forge file to run the installer.
- Paste the downloaded mod file into the
.minecraft/modsfolder. - We can now plant apple trees and get red apples and golden apples!
