This mod will add support for skins of version 1.8 (modern) to Minecraft 1.7.10, you will also be able to see the volume skins consisting of two layers.
For those who do not understand, on version Minecraft 1.8 developers have improved the system of skins by adding support for the so-called overlay, the second layer of skins with which the authors of skins can create bulk and convex parts of the skins, which is beautiful and realistic.
If you go to 1.7.10 with the new skin, you will see only the base layer, without the second, which means that all the volume will not be displayed.
This is a client mod only, i.e. everyone who wants to have support for new skins must install a mod.
