Quadral pack [Resource Pack]

You probably won’t learn anything from the fact that Minecraft is essentially (literally) cubic. That’s the basis of the game, and it’s also its charm, as the regulars will say, while those who don’t like it will say that the straight edges of the cubes are a little more unsightly. Without getting into an endless debate, it’s fair to say that some packs do take the cube nature of Minecraft down a notch, often with large swaths of HD resolution and detailed textures. Ignaf’s Quadral, on the other hand, is a Resource Pack that fully embraces this nature of Minecraft and will actually amplify it.

In Ignaf’s Quadral, the square is in the spotlight: on trunks, on boards, on stone, on minerals, even on flowers… At first glance, such a bias might seem incongruous, but the pack has been subtly crafted so that, while it’s this motif that dominates, it’s never visually too bulky or showy.

Ignaf’s Quadral is also characterized by the use of very bright colours, which gives a bit of fantasy to the universe created by the pack and softens the textures of the blocks made more “square”. And where the author succeeds particularly well is that he inserts his pack in a contemporary style, since you can build modern houses, as well as in an RPG style, notably thanks to the textures of wood, stone, and many other natural blocks. Ignaf’s Quadral is therefore a pack that, despite its particular style, remains relatively hybrid and adapts to any type of map.

How to install Quadral pack [Resource Pack] on Minecraft:

  1. Download the data pack. It should be a .zip file or directory.
  2. Open Minecraft.
  3. Select the world you want to install the data pack for, click on “Edit”, then “Open world folder”.
  4. Open the folder named datapacks, and put the data pack into it.
  5. Type /reload or press F3+T if you are in the world during the installation.
  6. If the data pack has a correct format, it would be enabled in the world. If you have enabled cheats, you can verify by typing /datapack list enabled and find an entry named [file/your data pack file/directory name].
