In Minecraft, mods have always been very important. Indeed, many players enjoy playing by using them, to improve their gaming experience, discover new activities, new dimensions, and even revolutionize the game. Mods are very numerous and allow everyone to find his account.
While some mods can totally transform the game, adding many features and even dimensions, others are much more minimalist, and only add one or two features, aiming to slightly improve the players’ life. It’s to this second category that the mod we’re going to talk about today belongs: Enemyz, created by zeroneye.
By creating Enemyz, zeroneye chooses to bring a unique feature to the game, simply graphical. Thus, once the mod is installed, each hostile creature will be surmounted by a red skull. This skull only appears on creatures that attack you. Therefore, it will not be visible above wolves, Endermen or zombie pigs, unless they are provoked. It will also not be visible in Creative Mode. Behind its innocuous appearance, this mod can therefore be very useful, as it allows you to distinguish, at a glance, the creatures that are likely to attack you.
This way, you can focus your attacks on them, and prepare for the battle as best you can. For example, you can kill hostile zombie pigs, avoiding provoking others, or avoid attacking a passive spider. Moreover, you will be able to immediately notice the presence of these creatures and respond to their attacks, which can be very useful, especially in caves, or in the middle of the night. Finally, in multiplayer mode, you can quickly see if you are the monsters’ target, or if they prefer to attack another player.
Finally, note that the mod includes a configuration file, allowing you to set some options, such as the size of the icon, its position or the maximum distance at which it will be visible.
