In keeping with Bytecraft’s goal of maximizing performance with simplistic textures, Simply Riley prints a sleek 16x style that increases the FPS of your setup without compromising the aesthetics of Minecraft.
Simply Riley has a sometimes ambiguous path. Several inspirations are jostling each other. First, those of the basic textures. Both in the colors and in the pixel arrangement, on a large scale, the player is not out of place. Those who wanted to optimize the FPS without sacrificing the essence of Minecraft will therefore find it to their advantage. Whether it’s landscapes or buildings, nothing is fundamentally altered.
At the same time, Simply Riley also borrows elements from the famous ocd pack. A true cannon in the family of simplistic Resource Packs, it has served as a model for Simply Riley’s choices when it comes to simplifying textures. One of its main features is that it highlights the edges of its blocks by darkening the textures at their level. Overall, Simply Riley is committed to offering blocks with homogeneous faces, reducing contrasts as much as possible. In this way, the blocks appear smoother and therefore, logically, simpler.

Start by downloading the texture pack and then find your .minecraft folder:
– Windows: Go to the Start menu, then go to Run. Otherwise, do Windows Key + R. Then type %appdata% in the search bar, then go to the .minecraft folder.
– Linux: Press ALT + F2 at the same time. You should normally have your .minecraft.
If you don’t see it, activate the hidden folders with the combination CTRL + H.
– Mac: Your minecraft folder can be found in User > Library > Application Support. If you can’t find Application Support, go to Finder > Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT > Library.
Drag the resource pack archive to the resourcepacks folder, which is located in your .minecraft folder.
Once the game is open, go to Options > Resource Packs and activate it by toggling it to the right queue.
Launch the game, and have fun!
