In the name of the article, you may suspect, dear reader, that Advanced GUI is not a Resource Pack really. At least not in the common acceptance of a Resource Pack. Technically, it is one. In fact, it “only” modifies the interfaces. But it does it brilliantly, probably more and better than any other Resource Pack.
Advanced GUI modifies the interfaces of Minecraft with two objectives: first, to establish a simple style. As such, no more grey rectangular windows with rounded edges: only the inventory is still surrounded by them. The rest becomes an elegant translucent background, which has the double merit of being lighter and less obstructing the player’s view when an interface is open.
The second goal of Advanced GUI is to be useful and make these interfaces intuitive. As such, you can see an oven replacing the traditional interface in this block, while an open book will adorn the one on the enchantment table. Intuitive, therefore, but also more immersive and aesthetically pleasing.
How to install Advanced GUI [Resource Pack] [1.14 – 1.15]
- Install Optifine HD (Not required, but desirable)
- Copy the resourcepack to the .minecraft\resourcepacks folder.
- In the settings of the game, select the desired resourcepack.
